Export Development Bank of Iran was established in 1991. It is an Islamic bank and its main area of business is in providing finance and banking services to businesses, particularly exporters. There are 34 branches, five of which are in Tehran. The range of products that it offers includes current accounts, savings accounts, deposit accounts, documentary credits, letters of guarantee, money remittances, export & import finance, and general finance.
